Joker - DC Movies

Below is the list of movies that pop up when you search Google for - "Last few movies by DC."

  • Man of Steel (2013)

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

  • Suicide Squad (2016)

  • Wonder Woman (2017)

  • Justice League (2017)

  • Aquaman (2018)

  • Shazam! (2019)

Of all the movies listed, I can vouch for some great cinematography and astounding CGI effects shown in each of these movies which has been detailed to the last point. Actors have played their parts perfect to the T, with some huge box office collections and some, not so much.

Finally we get "JOKER" - WE LOVED the movie. The role of Joker played by Joaquin Phoenix (Directed by Todd Phillips) was just 'A.M.A.Z.I.N.G', I couldn't get my eyes off him even for a minute. The cinematography, the costumes, the movie plot, the background score, everything in the movie was just perfect and in sync. If I havent said it already, an outstanding performance by Joaquin Phoenix. Applaud!

The movie is about Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) who works part time as a Rent-a-Clown to take care of his sick mother Penny (Frances Conroy). Meanwhile he makes every attempt to be a Stand-up comedian with just one joke in his hand and he fails at it.

In the movie Arthur is mentally ill with a laughter condition and under medication with ongoing therapy under court orders, which doesn't seem to help him at all. He keeps sinking back to emptiness, thinking he is invisible to the world. It does seem so, since he portrays a kind of twitchy behaviour with erratic outbreaks. This makes people uncomfortable around him and they tend to move away from him.

He slowly swirls into a dark world where he can be himself, where he is the show stopper. And with no fault of his, ties a knot of destiny with Bruce Wayne.

As compared to other Joker movies, this movie is a spin-off of how Joker originated and what led to his maniac behaviour thereafter.

For those of you who haven't seen the movie, please do watch. The movie is now available on Amazon Prime.
